Wixams Tree Primary are recruiting for a Midday Supervisor to join our growing school! Wixams Tree Primary first opened our doors in 2017 and since this time we have had the pleasure of seeing our school grow to one of the most over-subscribed schools in the area. We have recently merged with Knowledge Schools Trust and have implemented an enhanced, knowledge rich curriculum. Visits to our school are warmly welcomed.

You will be responsible for security, safety, wellbeing, and care of the pupils of the school and to promote their social, emotional and physical development during the lunch time period.

As a Midday Supervisor your main duties and responsibilities include:

• To supervise pupils, during the lunch period, in dining hall, ensuring the safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being of pupils and the maintenance of good order and discipline.

• To monitor the behaviour of pupils discouraging in a positive way any anti-social behaviour and reporting any incidents as appropriate.

• To ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, providing emotional support where necessary.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment and safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS clearance check, Prohibition from Teaching Checks and a Section 128 Direction Check (if applicable). KST is committed to the safeguarding of the children and young people in our care and actively promotes their welfare. We expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. KST is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from minority groups.
